To fund your Bittrex account, you can deposit many different cryptocurrency coins/tokens. Depositing coins/tokens into your Bittrex account means they are being withdrawn from another source, such as another exchange or crypto holder. The crypto deposit process on Bittrex is simple and easy, just make sure to follow the steps carefully to ensure the transactions run smoothly and your funds are secure.
- Make sure that you have successfully completed Identity Verification on your Bittrex account.
- Read our Deposit recovery policy. Depositing coins/tokens into your Bittrex account means that you agree to our policy.
- Become familiar with the types of supported coins/tokens on Bittrex. Expand the next section in this article Supported coins/tokens for more information.
- Always read the deposit instructions before making a deposit. More info on this can be found in this article under How to deposit coins/tokens.
- Be aware of any minimum deposit requirements. Expand the section Minimum deposits in this article for more information.
Bittrex currently supports a variety of coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and various other ERC-20s, and other mainnet coins. To check if a coin/token is supported, search for the wallet on Bittrex or refer to this page. If you don't see a wallet for the coin/token, then we don't support it. Please also note that some coins/tokens may not be available for trading in your locale.
IMPORTANT!
Bittrex cannot recover unsupported coins/tokens, with the only exception being unsupported ERC-20 coins (see our Deposit Recovery Policy), so please take note if the coin/token is supported before depositing.
Certain coins/tokens on the Bittrex exchange require a minimum deposit. If so, this information will be in the deposit instructions.
Making the minimum deposit is crucial to ensure that your deposit is credited to your Bittrex account, and not lingering on the blockchain. For example:
The minimum deposit for ETH is 0.05 ETH. If you deposit 0.035 ETH, this balance will remain on the blockchain (also known as your blockchain balance), and your Bittrex account will not be credited until you deposit an additional 0.015 ETH to meet the minimum (also known as "sweeping the balance"). Both deposits would then be combined and credited to your Bittrex account.
Note:
Your blockchain balance is separate from your Bittrex account balance. Buying coins to bring your Bittrex account balance above the minimum will not affect the blockchain balance. Another deposit will need to be made to meet the minimum for the blockchain balance.
You can view your blockchain balance by searching your wallet address on the blockchain explorer (also known as block explorer) for the coin/token.

- Open the app and tap More > Log In and enter your credentials.
- Tap Holdings > Deposit > Cryptocurrency.
- Search for the coin/token and tap to select it. If you have not deposited the coin/token into your Bittrex account previously, you will be prompted to Generate a new wallet address for that coin/token.
Note:
If you deposit a coin/token to Bittrex without generating a wallet for that specific coin/token, your funds may be lost.

Follow these instructions carefully, as they tend to vary. For example:
Some require a minimum amount before they are credited.Others may require a message/paymentID/tag/memo.
If you miss one of the deposit instructions, your coins/tokens may not be credited to your BIttrex account. If this happens, please contact Bittrex Support and provide us with the full transaction ID (TxID, TxHash). Without this information, we will be unable to credit your deposit. -

Double-check to make sure the name of the coin listed on the deposit instructions matches the name of the coin you would like to deposit, to avoid the following scenario:
If you send coins/tokens to one of your own wallet addresses for a different coin/token (also known as a cross-chain deposit), we may possibly be able to recover them, but there will be a fee as outlined in our Deposit Recovery Policy. If this happens, please contact Bittrex support and provide us with the following information: coin name, the address you sent the coin to, TxID, and the amount of coins sent. - Tap to copy your wallet address for that coin/token, then tap Done.
Note:
We strongly recommend copying and pasting wallet addresses to avoid the following scenario:
If you send coins/tokens to a wallet address other than your own, they unfortunately cannot be recovered. - If you are withdrawing coins/tokens from another exchange to deposit into your Bittrex account, return to that exchange to initiate the withdrawal. Enter your Bittrex wallet address for that coin/token when prompted.
If you are receiving a deposit from another crypto holder, provide your Bittrex wallet address for that coin/token to this person so they can send you the deposit. - Tap Back twice to go back to the Holdings page.
- In the top right corner, tap the
History icon. - Tap Deposits.
- Tap on the Status icon for detailed information. Note the number of confirmations on the block chain. All deposits must be fully confirmed on the blockchain before they can be credited to your Bittrex account. Once the transaction reaches the required number of confirmations, your deposit status will change from
Pending to 
Complete and your account will be credited.
- Log in to your Bittrex account.
- Go to Holdings > Balances. Here you will see a list of currencies.
Note:
To see all available currencies, be sure to select Show zero balances.
- Use the search box to find the desired coin/token if needed.
- Once you find the desired coin/token, click Deposit under the Actions column. A Deposit page will pop up, and include a list of deposit instructions for that specific coin/token.
- If you have not deposited the coin/token into your Bittrex account previously, you will be prompted to Generate a new wallet address for that coin/token.

- Under Pending Deposits, pay close attention to the Confirmations column. All deposits must be fully confirmed on the blockchain before they can be credited to your Bittrex account.
- After a deposit is complete, it will move into the Deposit History.
