Update 6/29/2022: Bittrex will not be supporting the new Terra 2.0 (LUNA) blockchain at this time.
The Terra Ecosystem has passed a proposal to create a new Terra chain without the algorithmic stablecoin TerraUSD (UST). The old chain will be called Terra Classic (token Luna Classic - LUNC), and the new chain will be called Terra (token Luna - LUNA).
Bittrex is reviewing the situation and evaluating whether to support the new Terra blockchain and Luna (LUNA) asset distribution to Luna Classic holders.
The snapshot for new Luna tokens will take place at the following time:
- Terra Classic block 7790000 (2022.05.27 03:59:51+08:00 / 2022.05.26 12:59:51 PDT)
To prepare for any decision, Bittrex will be closing our Terra Classic and TerraUSD (UST) wallets and stop trading on all LUNA and UST markets at 12:30:00 PM PDT on 2022.05.26 to take accurate snapshots of balances prior to the on-chain snapshot.
Bittrex will re-enable trading on LUNA and UST once the snapshot has taken place.
