Google Authenticator is the app we most recommend for setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Bittrex account. You can download Google Authenticator for free on your iOS or Android device.

First time set up Add a new account
  1. Open the app and tap Get Started.

  2. Option 1: Tap Scan a QR code.
Then use your mobile device to scan the QR code on your computer screen.

    Note:

To get the QR code, log in to your Bittrex account on the web version, go to My Account > Two-Factor Authentication.

  4. After scanning the QR code or entering your Security Key, a 6-digit authentication code will appear on the mobile device screen. Tap the code to copy it if needed.

    Note:

The code will expire in 30 seconds. If the first code you copy expires, you will need to copy the next code.
