Important information for New York customers

As we have previously announced, Bittrex was required to cease all operations for New York residents. All trading for New York customers was halted on April 11, 2019 and all account access was disabled on June 9, 2019 by direction of the New York Department of Financial Services. 

However, DFS asked Bittrex to reopen the ability of NY residents to withdraw tokens, for those who have missed the deadlines. Below you'll find some helpful information to help you through this process:


Withdraw coins/tokens

You must withdraw your coins/tokens. After this date, the assets will be transferred to the New York Office of the Comptroller. Please follow these steps in order to withdrawal your coins and tokens from Bittrex:

  1. To withdraw your tokens, please log in to https://www.bittrex.com and click Wallets.
  2. Next, you will need to search for the wallet and click the Withdrawal button to open the withdraw dialog.
  3. Then, you will be able to withdraw your balance.

    Note:

    If your balance is below the minimum withdrawal amount for the wallet, you will not be able to withdrawal it.
