Crown (CRW) will be upgrading their blockchain from a Proof of Work (PoW) to a new Masternode Proof of Stake (MNPoS) consensus system, which will activate on block 2,330,000 around April 10, 2019.
All Crown users will retain the balance of their old addresses, which will be migrated to new addresses on the upgraded network. As a result of changes in their address conventions, users will need to generate new deposit addresses after the upgrade is complete.
Users' CRW Bittrex exchange balance totals will reflect the same total that they had prior to the upgrade in a 1:1 manner. Once the upgrade is complete, all tokens from the old addresses can no longer be sent to Bittrex, and tokens from Bittrex accounts cannot be sent to old addresses.
Bittrex will re-enable the CRW wallet when we and the Crown team agree the migration is satisfactory.
Note: Wallets will be closed for deposits and withdrawals at 5:00PM PST on 4/9/2019 (12:00AM UTC on 4/10/2019). If any CRW deposits you had sent to Bittrex are not settled by then (marked as pending), you may not be credited with CRW.
Trading will continue as normal during this time.
