Fiat is government-issued currency, such as the US Dollar (USD). There are three types of fiat (USD) transactions supported on Bittrex:
bank (ACH) transfer
debit card (Visa and MasterCard)
wire transfer
Most US customers are eligible to deposit, withdraw, and trade fiat on Bittrex with a few exceptions. The map below shows eligible states in blue, and ineligible states in gray:

Requirements and supported actions and locations can differ between transaction types. Here is all the information you need to know about each one:
- ACH (automated clearing house) transfers are electronic, bank-to-bank money transfers processed through the ACH network. To make ACH transactions on Bittrex, you must connect your bank account to your Bittrex account using our Plaid integration.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) must be enabled on your Bittrex account if you want to make transactions using Bank (ACH) Transfer.
- Deposits from your bank and withdrawals to your bank are supported.
- The name on your bank account must match the name on your Bittrex account (under My Account > My Profile > Name), otherwise, the transaction will fail.
- Bank (ACH) transfers are not supported for the following states: Texas, Nevada and South Dakota (in addition to the ineligible states shown on the map above).
- Additional Information (see table below):
- Limits - how much you can deposit/withdraw per transaction or within a certain timeframe
- Withdrawal Holds - waiting period until you can make a withdrawal
- Fees - charged by Bittrex per transaction type
- Availability of Funds - when deposits will be available in your Bittrex account
*Please be advised that it will take a few days for the transaction to fully settle and for funds to be removed from your bank account. For this reason, please be sure to maintain a sufficient balance in your bank account until the transfer is complete. If we do not receive the funds from your bank, or the transaction is reversed, your account will be placed under review until the issue is resolved. If the issue is not resolved in a timely fashion, we may cancel open orders and sell the assets in your account, at your expense to cover the outstanding balance. If we are unable to recover sufficient funds by these means, your account will be subject to closure and possible additional action such as referral to a collection agency.Personal Account

- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is not required on your Bittrex account to make transactions using a debit card, but it is strongly encouraged to keep your account safe.
- All transactions are final.
- Debit card transactions are not supported for Corporate accounts.
- Debit card transactions are not supported for the following states: Nevada (in addition to the ineligible states shown on the map above).
- Deposits into your Bittrex account from your debit card are supported, however, you cannot withdraw from your Bittrex account back to your debit card. If you deposited funds into your Bittrex account from your debit card and you wish to withdraw them, you will have two options:
- Use Bank (ACH) Transfer: Withdraw the funds to your bank via ACH transfer, or
- Use Wire Transfer*: Withdraw the funds to your bank via wire transfer
*If you have never made a successful deposit into your Bittrex account via wire transfer, or you have never submitted a fiat application, you will need to contact Bittrex Support to submit a fiat application so we can enable the wire option on your account.
- The name on your debit card must match the name on your Bittrex account (under My Account > My Profile > Name), otherwise, the transaction will fail.
- All card transactions are processed through a third-party payment processor called Emerchantpay LTD and will appear as Bittrex INT on your bank statement.
- It is not possible to sell cryptocurrency and have the funds deposited to a card.
